Fiona graduated Curtin University in 2002 and has worked extensively in the United Kingdom and Australia in the vestibular, neurological and general rehabilitation fields. During her time at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, as the Senior Neurology Outpatients Physiotherapist, Fiona developed a special interest and gained valuable clinical experience in Vestibular Rehabilitation before moving into private practice in 2012.
Fiona completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Neurological Rehabilitation at UWA in 2008 and she has completed additional postgraduate Advanced Vestibular Rehabilitation Training in 2013, 2015 and 2017 with world-renowned Vestibular Specialist Susan Herdman. Fiona has completed advanced post graduate training in concussion management in 2020 and she is a certified LSVT BIG clinician, which is an intensive, evidence based exercise program for people with Parkinsons’ Disease. Fiona regularly attends NOTSA (Neuro-otological Society of Australia) meetings and works in collaboration with the Balance Centre at The Ear Science Institute.
Fiona regularly provides professional development to Physiotherapists and General Practitioners on vestibular disorders and rehabilitation including lecturing on the Introductory Vestibular Course 2015-2024.
